Promotion

I work as an administrator in a construction company. I recently got married and went on leave for two weeks in August. Upon my return I was told one of the senior administrators had resigned and our manager was carrying out interviews to fill the post.

During my last appraisal , my discussion with the manager was to give me more jobs to do as I complained of being bored. I did not apply for this post because it is finance related and I do not like calculations.

After a few days my manager called me saying there was an opening, she had carried out numerous interviews with no success. Then it occurred to her that I was looking for something different. She gave me the job specification and asked me to think about it. Then I noticed  the post was  a grade higher. My manager said, ‘oh, I didn’t realize that but I can’t take it back now’.

I met with the new team despite having no idea about the new post because my current post was totally different; I was told to start immediately!

Now I have a promotion and a sub-ordinate all during my absence.
I received a letter from HR confirming it and it turns out to be £2000 more than what I thought I would get. Even when I was doubting, making room for ‘just in case’, God showed himself as God!

Immigration

This is our testimony.  Before I start I just want to acknowledge that God is a good God.  Whatever he starts he is bound to finish and whatever’s God’s will no man can hinder.
I proposed to my fiancé 2007 August and with great help from Pastor T and Dyanand (Marriage Counsellor) we wed on the 1st October 2008 in her home country of St. Vincent.  During our courtship my wife had difficulties coming into England and we were advised to get a very good lawyer to assist in obtaining her visa to stay permanently.  Long before we wed we went through the trials of being apart and the struggles of obtaining the information necessary to apply for her visa.

I am ashamed to say that the fast commencing the 15th December 2008 was the first my wife and I took part in. During the fast we prayed that God would grant my wife her spousal visa as he began the work in us so he must see it through.  God knew how lonely both of us were without each other.  When our lawyer submitted our application he told us we would have to wait twelve weeks for a response and the immigration board also told us twelve weeks.  Four days into our fast my wife received an email stating her application was a success.  My wife arrived in England on the 2nd January and is part of the family that is Glory House.

We want to thank God for the blessings he has given us and I thank him for the gift of my wife.  Pastor T and Dyanand have been a blessing to me and I thank them for their encouragement and prayers for our marriage.  We would like to thank you Pastor for the great work you are doing through Christ, you are a blessing on us all. Glory House is our family and we pray each member of our family receive their blessings from God.

Lumps Drop Off Baby

One morning when I was undressing my baby to give her a bath, I noticed two lumps on either side of her scapula (shoulder blades). I didn't know what it was and neither had I seen anything like that before. I showed my husband and he asked me to call the surgery and make an appointment to see the paediatrician asap which I did.

When I got to the Doctor, she looked at the lumps and couldn't tell what it was, and then she referred us to the consultant at Basildon hospital. This Paediatrician called Basildon herself and made an appointment so that it would be quick. She called me back to confirm that an appointment had been made for us to take my daughter to see the Consultant Paediatrician two days after. During this waiting period, my husband and I were worried but we put our trust in God because of what he had done during and after the birth of our baby.

I took my daughter to Basildon where the consultant was amazed at seeing those lumps. He did all the checks and couldn't tell what it was. He requested that she have an ultrasound scan asap and advised me that when the results come back and they find that the lumps could be life threatening, they would have to carry out a surgery to remove them quickly. Otherwise, the surgery could be done before she starts school. That evening, my husband and I were talking about it and he mentioned that he would not want her to have any surgery as that would leave a scar on her back. Then he said to me, Don't worry about it anymore. Pastor Albert has called a special Wednesday word service for Prayer which he would be attending after work and he will be praying to God specially about our daughter.
 
Two days before the Ultrasound scan, as I was undressing my daughter to give her a bath, I noticed that the lumps on both sides of her shoulder blades had completely disappeared. I looked and checked again and again and there was nothing. I was so happy, I called my husband at work and informed him and he said to me: "did I not tell you not to worry that I would pray to God for healing on Wednesday? Our God is Faithful!!!!

We went in for the scan as scheduled, and the Radiographer couldn't find any lumps and was surprised and couldn't understand why we had come for a scan.
 
 
I have shared this testimony to encourage people that our God is Alive and to encourage them to attend the word service as there is power in prayer and the Word of God.

Traumatised Knee

At the miracle service on Sunday the 13th February God healed my knee, which I had injured the previous day while doing some exercise.
Pastor called out people who had bone disorders and I came out asking God for something else.  However, I thank God for His great healing hands that restructured my knee.
I give him all the glory and thank Him for all that He is doing in Glory House and in my life.  Miracles still happen and will continue to happen as we keep in His word and have faith.

Tumours Drop Off

I have a testimony to share that will bless you and hopefully inspire someone else to have faith in God. For the first time in my life, I was miraculously healed.  For ten years, I had two non-cancerous growths that would not go away whatever the amount of prayer I said or whatever medicine I took. Last week, I attended a teaching convention taken by Dr Odulele and when I got home, I was just relaxing and some-how felt very different.  When I checked, the growths had shrunken and dried up and came off just like a piece of skin.  Just like that.
My wife and I were so excited and we could not stop praising God.  You need to understand that we had prayed for years for this thing but yet we still believed God.  I used to pray for others to get healed, and now God has healed me.  This is wonderful! Hallelujah!

Fifteen-year barrenness reversed

May God bless you in the name of His son Jesus Christ.  My life since I came to this country has changed a lot;  I just want to thank God for His love for me.  My testimony is to say how much I love Him.  Eight months ago, Pastor Albert preached about a ‘New Season’ and I did, and still do, believe it’s a new season for everybody, not only (I think) for believers but for everybody having a little respect for God and His Word.

One of my friends for almost 15 years has been trying for a child.  She had spent almost all her money on IVF (in vitro fertilsation), African treatment and every type of prayer with no results.  The day Pastor Albert preached ‘the new season’, I really believed in the words of Pastor and at the same time I was thinking of her because I knew that is the only thing left to make her life happy.  She had even stopped going to church after failing to have any results from many pastor’s prayers.
The following day by God’s grace I met her on the way to work, and I don’t know why but when I saw her I had this feeling in me to tell her about what Pastor said in church.  I asked her where she was going.  She said to the hospital, to do some blood tests.  The first thing I heard in my mind was a voice asking me to prophesy to her.  And I just told her, ‘Believe, from today your life will change because my Pastor said it is a new season, and I believe it shall be so for you.  You are going to be pregnant in the name of Jesus.’ Upset, she insulted me, telling me that I knew she had tried everything without results; my response was, ‘It is a new season.’  One month later she called me telling me that she was pregnant.  Now, after some months she is about to have her baby.  I just want to thank God for everything He has done in my life and for this friend of mine.  She has now started reading her bible again and I believe that she will come back to the light of God. This is my testimony, it means a lot to me and I just want to say, ‘I love you Dad.’ May God bless you all.
