GLORY HOUSE HOME CHURCH NETWORK

.........where love reigns supreme......

“I don’t want to get lost in the crowd”

Perhaps this has been a concern for you about getting involved or joining a large church. Well, the Glory House Home Church Network has good news for you.

The Home Church Network is your opportunity to be a part of smaller groups of believers who love, nurture and serve one another. Its your opportunity to know and be known in more personal ways than is possible through a weekly worship and word experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be blessed and to be a blessing.

Glory House is a Church with a big family, but where everyone is recognised.  Thus we ensure that no member is missed or left out by becoming planted in the Home Churches. Glory House Home Church Network (HCN)  is a small group of people who are committed to first of all building up one another, and secondly to fulfil the great commission in reaching out to the lost. They meet together weekly, as well as making contact throughout the week. The Home Church Network is like a larger family than just your own. It is comparable to the cells in a human body that provide protection, communication, life, sustenance etc. Likewise the HCN is there for protection, edification, acceptance, support and communication.

The aims of the Home Church Network are:

  • Caring (Practical caring and sharing) Matthew 22:37-40; Rom 12:15; 1 Peter 4:10.
  • Friendship (Loving others into the Lord’s family) 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
  • Family meeting (Home Church meetings) Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 2:17-19

HOME CHURCH COORDINATION:

  • Home church meetings
    • Organised by a Home Church Leader.
    • The Glory House Home Churches  hold weekly for a duration of 1hr
  • Outreaches
    • Organise various innovative ways of reaching your community with the Gospel.
    • Engage in mentoring someone to maturity.

YOU TOO CAN GET INVOLVED!

  • Join one nearest to you.
  • Make your home available as a centre.
  • Invite someone to the Home Church meetings (Be a “bringer”)

How does this benefit me?

As part of a smaller family group, you will have regular visits (and phone calls) from friendly and familiar faces.
Should you have any pressing needs, you will have easy and ready access to practical support.
Personal and confidential counselling will be at your fingertip; as well as a caring Home Church to pray for you where necessary.

Who Else

Each Home Church will be warm and friendly, with a multicultural and non-threatening atmosphere. Basically, other people like you will be there. Each of these family groups is tailored to make non-Christians welcome too. We also must touch their lives meaningfully.

What’s usually happens At Home Church meetings

What’s normally done at family “get-together”? You will be treated to friendly banter, bible discussions, brief prayer times and other interesting activities. A specialized Home Church meeting is also organized for Children and young people simultaneously in the Classical Home Churches.

What Times and How Often

Home Church meetings are held weekly and strictly for no more than an hour. Aside from the first Sunday of the month (Miracle service in Church), the Classical Home Churches usually meet weekly between 6.45pm-7.45pm(Time and day is flexible and could vary according to Home Churches).
