The Glory House Prison ministry was launched in 2007 by a group of the members, with the blessing of the Leadership, who had a passion and desire to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Prisons, Young Offenders Institutions and Immigration Removal Centres.
Following are the bible scriptures are the fundamental pillars of this area of ministry.
Matthew 25: 36 “I was in prison and you visited me.”
Acts 26: 18 “to open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.”

To see the lives of men and women of all ages transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ by sharing scriptural truths and insights.
To work with Chaplains and authorities to foster and support the spiritual needs of men, women of all ages.
To present the integrity and truth of God’s word to encourage men and women of all ages to study and use the word as a practical source of guidance throughout their lives.
To assist in mentoring ex-offenders, working together with the local authorities to reduce the rate of re-offending and to be of assistance in resettling men and women of all ages back into society.
It is both necessary and compulsory for training to be given to anyone joining the Glory House Prison ministry with the following areas being covered:
- Protocol and Regulations,
- Security and Conduct.
The Glory House Prison Ministry Team meets on a monthly basis aside from visits to the establishments. The monthly meetings provide an opportunity for the team to pray, discuss ministry issues, to share feedback and to plan future events.
