Jan. 11th The ‘Proofs’ Of Wisdom – By Dr Albert Odulele
Bible Reading:     Jam. 3:15-17; 1 Kg. 10:1-7; Mk. 6:2

Mat. 11:19   ‘…but wisdom is justified by her children’                (NKJV)
‘…wisdom is justified and vindicated by what she does (her deeds) and by her children.                                         (Amp.)

Wisdom has clear and unmistakable proof. If it is God’s wisdom, it will show; otherwise it isn’t divine wisdom. Errors are avoided when bearings are precise and wisdom is exact direction. It gives a clear demarcation between you and failure or frustration.

Wisdom always has proof, in fact it is commonly said that ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’. It has expected outcomes, tangible evidence and proven results. It finds expression in marriage, ministry, health, finances, career, etc. Wisdom speaks for itself.

If you are truly endowed with wisdom, prove it. The church is mocked where there is no proof. Every challenge, dilemma, battle, problem or issue in life, whatever the sort, is a demand for a wisdom solution.

Wisdom creates a way out of situations. Wisdom finds escape routes from trouble and provides solutions. Frankly, it’s the ‘wisdom-deficiency-syndrome’ that often causes weariness, depression, stagnation, intimidation, oppression, affliction, etc.

‘And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her’    1 Kg. 10:4-5

Solomon’s wisdom had proof. It was visible and reflected in his staff, diet, government and worship. The Queen of Sheba was astonished. It’s your turn to shine and radiate the fruit of wisdom in the name of Jesus.

Prayer:

  1. Pray for the future and peace of Jerusalem. It is a global ‘raw nerve’ and source of great aggravation. Ps. 122:6
  2. Pray for wisdom’s proof in every aspect of your life _ spiritual and secular. Eccl. 10:10

Thought for the day:
You can choose today to start confronting every challenge with the privilege, power and proof of divine wisdom
