July 12th God Bankers
Bible Reading: Gen. 6:13-18; 1 Kg. 17:10-14; Lk. 5:3-4

Acts 17:28
‘for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, for we are also His offspring’
Most of us use banks and keep funds there with implicit trust. Usually a debit card is issued along with a chequebook for cash withdrawals, payments and financial transactions. However, banks can invalidate cheques, withdraw cards and deduct charges without prior consent yet continue to make lots of money from you.
Banks have the best buildings in any city and pay the best wages. One day, God said to me ‘consider becoming my bank and banker.’ Financial consecration gives God control of more than the 10% tithe and offerings, it gives God 100%, everything all the time. Let God have the final say on all your finances. Phil. 1:21
Noah was God’s banker, spent all he had building the Ark and profited immensely. The same goes for Abraham, the widow of Zarephath and Peter. God may not always ask but when He does, surrender to Him and do as He bids. God protects, prospers and gives peace to those who spread His kingdom through wealth.
Prayer:
i. Pray that The gospel of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed unhindered by satanic forces 2 Thess. 3:1; Acts 19:20
ii. Write the names of three friends, relatives or acquaintances and intercede for their salvation 2 Cor. 4:3-4; Ps. 2:8
Thought for the day:
Bank for God; His pay package is generous
