August 8th The Success Covenant II
Bible Reading: Mat. 5:14-16
Gal. 3:13-14
‘Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith’
Jesus came to redeem us from the curse of the Law and to give us access to Abraham’s covenant of success. He took your place to give you abundant life and take failure away. It’s yours today and right now. By His Blood Jesus has purchased visible, undeniable, inspiring and ‘un-hide-able’ success for you. God is the senior partner in your enterprise of success.
1 Tim. 1:18 ‘this charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare’
Our Father initiated the success covenant with Abraham, institutionalised it in Christ and is intent on inducing it in you. You have too much going for you and cannot fail. When the success covenant was given to Abraham, God had you in mind.
Rom. 8:31
‘what then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?’
Prayer:
i. Pray for the nations to begin to flow to the mountain of the Lord. Is. 2:2-4; Mic. 4:1-2
ii. Decree that the kingdoms of the world manifest as the kingdoms of our Lord. Rev. 11:15; Rev. 15:4
Thought for the day:
The success covenant is God’s initiation and intention.
